Why work from Home?

Did you know that the number one reason for people to want to work home is to avoid the daily commute?  I can certainly relate to that!  In Canada's winter, driving on snowy roads can take twice as much time as the summer drive!  That alone was a big factor for me to work from home!

Other reasons to be interested to work from home online might be to earn extra money or expand your skills and open-up new career possibilities.  Those are also excellent reasons, and I can relate to both, but especially the learning aspects of discovering new possibilities.  For example, my work usually deals with project management in a very structured way that does not allow me the leeway to try new things (you wouldn't want aircraft to start falling-off the sky!).  But working online has allowed me to learn new skills

• I learned how the internet businesses function to reach their goals
• I learned about global international marketing, in that people from different countries are looking for different things
• I learned about motivation, because it's not always easy to keep going in a new directions when results aren't visible day to day
• I learned about writing, because that's the main manner we communicate with customers online
• I learned about sales and personal relations as providing the right product or services to people requires building relations to learn what people need and to explain what I can provide.

All in all, working online for me has been a great experience and has allowed me to reach new goals, develop new skills, and earn moneys in more ways I thought possible.
