I almost got into an accident travelling to work the other day, it made me appreciate working from home even more: no commute, more efficient work, and money savings as well!
I now work 2 days a week from home (plus some evenings) and three other days at the office to interact and do meetings.

Saving time is a great way to get more done, the easiest way is to start doing it part-time, and you will get more efficient at it.
